Clearing Browser Data (Outdated Settings Solutions)
Occasionally clearing your browsing data can help ensure you have the most up-to-date settings and data in your Ankota software. If you are encountering an outdated settings issue, you will need to clear your browsing data.
To clear your browsing data in Chrome (Ankota's recommended browser for Ankota.net):
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .

- Click More tools Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range, "All time"
- Select all the types of information you want to remove.
- Click Clear data.
To clear your browsing data in Edge:
- In Microsoft Edge, go to More > Settings.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Select the check box next to each data type you’d like to clear, and then select Clear.
- If you’d like, turn the Always clear this when I close the browser setting to On.
To clear your browsing data in Firefox:
- Go to the History panel on your home screen.
- Tap on Clear browsing history at the bottom of the History panel.
- Tap OK to confirm.
To clear your browsing data in Safari:
- To clear your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information.
- To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.
- To visit sites without leaving a history, turn private browsing on or off.
For other browsers, simply search online for "clear your browsing data in [browser of choice]" for directions. After the browsing data has been cleared, you will see the latest updates.
